A new initiative has been launched by one of the most prestigious universities in London and Kent – the University of
Greenwich. The institution is giving £2,500 to every Bulgarian student with a high school diploma grade above 5.50.
It is important to emphasize that this is not a discount on the annual
tuition fee – the amount is transferred directly to the student's bank account immediately after their arrival
in England in September.
The University of Greenwich does more than welcome its newly arrived students with a cash reward
for their choice. During the next 2 years of their studies, every student who achieves a grade above
60% for the year again receives £2,500 at the beginning of the academic year. This way everyone has
the opportunity to receive a total of £7,500 over 3 years, which is equal to roughly two average
annual salaries in Bulgaria.
