Send your summer selfie and win dinner and a photo with the US Ambassador!
The US Embassy in Sofia announces the “My Americana” selfie contest for returning participants in the WAT 2015 program. Send up to two photos by email to sofia@usembassy.bg with the subject “My Americana” between November 2 and 16. Include your name, contact details, university, the place where you stayed (city and state) and one or two sentences describing why these photos best capture your American adventure. Three winners will be selected, and the ten best photos will be shared on the US Embassy's Facebook page and displayed at official WAT events.
Requirements: Entries are accepted only from participants in the 2015 Summer Work And Travel program. Entrants must hold the copyright to the photos. All inappropriate or unsuitable photos will be disqualified. Each photo must not exceed 5 MB or 2000 pixels in length and must be saved in JPEG (.jpg) format. By entering, participants agree that the US Embassy may use the photos in future WAT promotional materials. Employees of the US Department of State, the US Embassy in Sofia and their families are not eligible to participate in the contest.
