Reed’s School, Cobham is a traditional boarding school located in rural outer London, 40 min. by train from the city center. It is one of our most popular language centers, equipped with numerous sports facilities such as tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool and soccer fields, which makes it the ideal choice for our Sports program.
Types of Programs:
- Young Learners Experience – for children who want to improve their English while having fun and making new friends, and who prefer a variety of activities.
- Young Learners Culture – for children who want to improve their English while discovering the city's cultural riches and heritage, and who prefer sightseeing to other activities or sports.
- Young Learners Intensive – for children who want to reach a higher level of academic English and want to use the language in discussions, debates and role plays; who also prefer sightseeing to other activities or sports; and whose English level is at least B1.
- Young Learners Sports – for children who want to improve their English but also want to develop their skills in a particular sport.
What to expect:
- A 7-day program
- 15 hours of English tuition per week (21 hours for the Intensive program)
- A minimum of 15 students per class from different nationalities
- Preparation for the Trinity College London exam, as well as taking the exam itself at the end of the stay
- A certificate and academic report at the end of the course
- One full-day excursion per week
- At least one half-day excursion per week
- A full evening program with various activities.
Accommodation:
- Children live at the school itself, with breakfast, lunch and dinner provided. There are 2-6 children per room with a shared bathroom.
Course start dates:
- July 12, 19, 26; August 2, 9.
- Arrival is always on Sunday.
