The Italian language course + the specialized courses in History, Myths and Culture give you the opportunity not only to learn the language but also to experience the captivating history and culture of the country. The city of Syracuse itself is a historic center with rich, well-preserved architecture and attracts millions of history enthusiasts.
The course includes 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday, of in-depth study of the history of Syracuse and Sicily as a whole. The teachers are local professionals in history and archaeology, who also organize afternoon and weekend excursions to the important historical sites and areas covered in the course.
Depending on the course chosen, visits include places such as ancient Greek theaters, archaeological parks, old catacombs and tombs, sacred temples and famous towns, etc.
