Intensive English Course Club 4, Club 5 and One-to-One

Anglophiles Academic is a language center offering summer camps and language training abroad. It has been on the market for almost 40 years and organizes English language courses in the UK, France, Ireland, the USA, Canada, China and other countries. Its mission is to provide high-quality teaching and meaningful experiences for young people, to introduce them to new challenges and to enrich their lives with excitement and enjoyment.

The center offers creative and engaging programs in the following UK towns – Bury, King's Lynn, Luton, Milton Keynes, Nothingham, Peterborough, Plymouth, Spalding and Wisbech. The choice of study location depends on availability at the respective center and the chosen program.

Intensive English is a spring and summer program held in April, July and August. It includes 12 hours of English per week, afternoon activities and excursions. At the start, students take an English test to determine their level and are placed in groups according to the results. There are several study options:

  • Club 4 (children aged 11–17) – groups consist of 4 people with a similar level of English. The team of highly qualified specialists puts a lot of energy into making the lessons enjoyable and interesting. The emphasis is on speaking and listening, as well as on basic grammar rules. The goal is for students to gain confidence in their everyday communication. All course materials are provided.
  • Club 5 (children aged 11–17) - groups consist of 5 people with a similar level of English. The team of highly qualified specialists puts a lot of energy into making the lessons enjoyable and interesting. The emphasis is on speaking and listening, as well as on basic grammar rules. The goal is for students to gain confidence in their everyday communication. All course materials are provided.
  • 1 student to 1 teacher (ages 14–17) – instruction is on a one-to-one basis. When there are no lessons, the host family helps the student get to know the town and the surrounding area, which gives them a great opportunity to practice their English in everyday situations. The student will also be given a public transport card. This option is for more independent students who show initiative and does not include leisure activities and excursions, but these can be arranged by agreement with the family.

Afternoon activities include sports (swimming, tennis, badminton, table tennis, squash, bowling, ice skating and more). There is one full-day excursion per week and trips to explore the local area.

Students stay with carefully selected English families who provide 3 meals a day.
