ENGLISH SUMMER CAMP IN WORKSOP
Xplore offers language tuition and adventure-filled summer camps in the UK. The center has almost 30 years of experience. One of the destinations where the center offers study programs is Worksop.
Worksop is a small English town located next to Sherwood Forest – the home of Robin Hood. Worksop College is one of the best-known and most traditional schools in the country. The town is a paradise for lovers of all kinds of sports. The school offers soccer, rugby, archery, tennis, golf, and for those who like stronger thrills there is rock climbing, abseiling, ATV and mountain biking, water sports and more. Many social events are organized, such as barbecues and fun runs.
Students stay in a large manor house that resembles Hogwarts – the famous school from the world of Harry Potter. Rooms have 2-6 beds. Full board is included, as well as vegetarian meals on request.
English lessons include 20 hours of tuition per week (4 sessions of 45 minutes, 5 days a week). All materials are provided by the center. On completing the course, students receive a certificate.
Excursions to London, Manchester, Liverpool, York, Sheffield or the largest amusement park in the UK, Alton Towers, are included – 3 full-day excursions for a 2-week stay and 5 for a 3-week stay.
This location also offers a Football Academy program, which aims to improve students' technical, tactical, physical and mental skills. The course offers 3 hours of training per day led by UEFA-licensed soccer coaches. A special trip to the stadium of Manchester Utd. – Old Trafford.
