Anglophiles Academic is a language center that organizes summer camps and language courses in the UK, France, Ireland, the USA, Canada, China and other countries. Its mission is to provide high-quality teaching and meaningful experiences for young people, to introduce them to new challenges and to enrich their lives with excitement and enjoyment.
School Camp is a spring program (February/March and April/May) held at Windmill Hill (located 95 km from London), Caythorpe Court (195 km from London) and Boreatton Park (220 km from London). The choice of location depends on availability at the center. The program offers a mix of language classes, sports and excursions.
Students' level is assessed on arrival, after which they are placed in groups of 12–16 people. The teacher adapts the materials and teaching techniques to the individual needs of each group. Special emphasis is placed on speaking and listening. The center's goal is to make everyday communication in English effective.
Students are accommodated at the center, with 6–8 people per room. Each room has its own bathroom with toilet. 3 meals a day are included.
Sports activities include rock climbing, archery, aeroball, trampolining, canoeing and more. Group games and evening activities are organized. 1 or 2 full-day excursions are organized depending on the length of stay.
